Scots roads projects criticised by greens

Scottish ministers are being warned by their own advisers that major road-building schemes – such as the new bridge over the Firth of Forth – are short-sighted, and could crash their targets to cut climate pollution.

The Sustainable Development Commission (SDC), which advises on green policies, is preparing a damning critique of the Scottish government’s transport priorities.
