NAIROBI: It is feared up to 55 people drowned after an overcrowded boat capsized off the Somali coast.
The UN High Commissioner for Refugees said five survivors, all young Somali men, had been picked up by rescue services. The boat was overcrowded and ran into trouble almost immediately after leaving the port of Bosasso in the Somali breakaway region of Puntland.
