Compensation for morgue detention

BEIJING: China will compensate a woman who was held in a disused morgue as punishment for going to Beijing to petition against her husband's jailing, in an unusual case of the government overturning an extra-judicial detention.

Chen Qingxia was held for three years after being abducted by security officials.
