Up to 4300 residents have been evacuated from five villages in North Sumatra due to volcanic eruptions from Mount Sinabung.
The pyroclastic smoke could be seen spewing from the volcano from Tigapancur village in Karo district yesterday.
The volcano has been erupting for several days, spewing ash and lava 2.5 miles into the sky.
