Hollande at a loss in local polls fight


The ruling Socialist party of President Francois Hollande has been preparing for heavy mid-term losses in the French local elections that are predicted to provide the far-right National Front with gains. Dissatisfaction with President Hollande is helping the anti-immigrant National Front, which hopes to win outright in a record number of towns.
