Journalist told to leave for criticism

ISTANBUL:

A Turkish newspaper said one of its journalists has been ordered to leave the country for criticising Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan, pictured on Twitter. Today's Zaman said online editor Mahir Zeynalov, 27, from Azerbaijan, was escorted on to a plane by police. He raised concerns about media freedom a day after Turkey tightened internet controls.
