Men hanged for drug trafficking

SINGAPORE:

Two men convicted of drug trafficking were hanged yesterday, the first executions carried out in the city-state for more than three years. Tang Hai Liang, 36, and Foong Chee Peng, 48, both from Singapore, were executed at Changi Prison the Central Narcotics Bureau said, having been convicted of trafficking heroin.
