NEW DELHI: Thousands of people have taken to the streets of the Indian capital to protest against the authorities' failure to ensure women's safety in the aftermath of gang-rape of a medical student.
The 23-year-old woman, who was also badly beaten, is battling for her life. Five people accused of the attack have been arrested.
