Syrian group spurns Russians

ALEPPO PROVINCE: Syria's opposition leader has rejected an invitation from Russia for peace talks.

Russia, President Bashar al Assad's main ally, said it had sent an invitation for a visit to Moaz Alkhatib, the leader of the National Coalition opposition group. But he announced he had ruled out such a trip and wanted an apology from Moscow for its support for Mr Assad.
