IAN Blackford, the SNP leader at Westminster, has said that a hard Brexit will give the SNP the right to have a second referendum.

Surely it depends on what is meant by a hard Brexit.

The UK will obviously have some kind of agreement with the EU on trade and migration and the humongous fudge I suspect it will agree will probably be better than what David Cameron tried for before the referendum.

It may also be good enough for British people like me who just want this whole thing over with; and, it is to be hoped, good enough for the SNP to realise it is not an independence-winning issue.
