IT'S not electric bikes on the pavement Clark Cross (Letters, May 10) needs to worry about, it's the plague of mobility scooters you need to watch out for.
Having been knocked down by one outside the British Heart Foundation shop in Paisley many years ago, they pack one hell of a punch when they're going at full speed ("maximum 4 mph" yer buttocks in parsley!) – and they don't have any licence plate on them when they speed off into the distance without so much as an "och, sorry son".

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
