Bills expected in tomorrow's (WED) Queen's Speech include:
*EU Referendum Bill.
First to be published, underlying its importance. Will set out PM's pledge to hold in/out poll on Britain's membership of EU by end of 2017. But already row erupted over just who will be able to take part.
*Immigration Bill.
With one eye to political impact of Ukip, UK Government will pledge another crackdown on immigration, this time on illegal variety with new offence of people working unlawfully, giving police power to seize wages as "proceeds of crime" . Other measures will involve clamping down on unscrupulous landlords and ensuring agencies advertise all jobs in UK not just abroad.
*Scotland Bill.
Implements recommendations of Smith Commission, including more powers on tax and welfare. UK Government keen to get this on Statute Book before Holyrood poll next year to underline political point. But already, SNP Government believes its election landslide means more devolution needed.
*Industrial Relations Bill.
Aim will be to ban strike action from taking place unless 40 per cent of all eligible union members vote in favour of industrial action. Ministers also want to lift ban on use of agency staff when strike action takes places.
*Enterprise Bill.
UK Government determined to slice another £10bn off business red tape. Business Secretary Sajid Javid has said there will be no 'hire and fire' clause, making it easier for employees to sack workers, but legislation expected to propose new conciliation service to help settle disputes between small and large businesses, especially over late payment practices.
*Income Tax Bill.
David Cameron vowed to working people during election to introduce legislation guaranteeing no rise in income tax rates, VAT or national insurance before 2020.
*Communications and Data Bill.
Otherwise known as snoopers' charter, which Lib Dems successfully blocked in last parliament. Previous plans proposed to extend range of data communications firms have to store for 12 months, including details of messages sent on social media, webmail and calls over internet.
