Rangers striker Jon Daly insists the reason behind the Ibrox squad's decision to reject a 15 per cent pay cut will not leave the dressing room.
The troubled League One leaders confirmed last week that chief executive Graham Wallace had suggested the first-team salary reduction as one possible way to reduce reported £1million-a-month losses.

But that plan was kicked out by the players following a meeting organised by skipper Lee McCulloch.
Daly was asked during the Light Blues' weekly press conference to explain why that decision had been reached but declined to detail the squad's thinking.
"I don't think that is to be spoken about," he said. "Whatever happens in the changing room, whether it's to do with finances or to do with tactical decisions, stays in the dressing room. As far as I'm concerned, that's the way it is going to stay."
Boss Ally McCoist has already held talks about alternative cost-cutting measures with Wallace this week, with more scheduled for Friday afternoon.
But Daly - who is due to take on Arbroath at Ibrox on Saturday - said he was paying no attention to the latest off-field drama to hit the club.
"I try not to focus on dealings off the pitch. I just try to focus on the football. If you concentrate on things that are outwith your control then it can affect you.
"I'm just concentrating on the football and whatever happens, happens."
Rangers midfield duo Arnold Peralta and Ian Black will return from suspension to feature for the Ibrox men as they host Arbroath on Saturday.
The League One leaders should also have goalkeeper Cammy Bell back between the sticks after he missed the 2-0 win over Forfar on Monday night to attend the birth of his daughter, while Steven Smith could feature again after recovering from an ankle injury.
However, injury problems mean Nicky Clark (foot), Chris Hegarty (ankle), Kyle Hutton (broken leg) and Ross Perry (ankle) all remain on the sidelines.
Provisional squad: Bell, Foster, Wallace, McCulloch, Faure, Law, Little, Peralta, Black, Crawford, Aird, Daly, Simonsen, Murdoch, Shiels, Cribari, Mohsni, Macleod, Templeton, Telfer.
