ALEX HARRIS, the Hibernian midfielder, says his misfiring side need to "grow up" and accept they are in a relegation dogfight after a nightmare run of results.

James Collins, the hapless Easter Road striker, made waves yesterday by claiming that Hibs were not realistic contenders for the drop and would find it easy to remain in the SPFL Premiership. Harris, though, disagrees. "We just need to accept we are in a relegation fight and grow up and make sure we aren't there on the last day of the season," he said.

"We know we can get ourselves out of trouble. There are good players here.We have to show we are fighting and not giving up."
