RANGERS' Arnold Peralta will have extensive fitness tests today to determine if he will be fit for the World Cup, writes Mark Walker.

The Ibrox midfielder reported for international duty at his nation's training camp in Miami but, having not trained for three weeks since Rangers' last game of the season at Dunfermline, he discovered he was suffering from a thigh strain.

Now he is in danger of missing the finals and Honduras have called up home-based midfielder Edder Delgado as cover.

Peralta had a stop-start first season with Rangers and previously revealed he may look for a new challenge after the World Cup.
