SCOTLAND will today resume their bid to complete a World Cricket League double over Nepal after their victory charge was halted by rain at Ayr yesterday.

Needing 110 from 22 overs after a four-hour rain delay, only 10 deliveries of the Scottish reply were possible before the heavens opened again.

Openers George Munsey and Kyle Coetzer had reached 15-0 and will attempt to finish the job and take Scotland joint top of the WCL Championship table this morning.

Earlier Ali Evans was the pick of the bowlers with 3-18 from his 10 overs while Safyaan Sharif, Gavin Main and Michael Leask all claimed two scalps as Nepal were bundled out for 167.

There was also a wicket with his first delivery in 50-over internationals for Heriot's youngster Mark Watt.
