THE Scottish Rugby Union has revamped its age-grade coaching set-up, promoting John Dalziel from assistant coach of the national under-20s to head coach. Former Scotland centre Sean Lineen, who was head coach for the past three years, is still head of international age-grades, and has specific responsibility for overseeing the coaching of the under-16s. Dalziel’s assistants will be Ben Fisher and Ian Monaghan.

Fourteen new coaches have been appointed in all, among them two other ex-Scotland players, Andy Henderson and Ben Cairns, both of whom will assist under-18s head coach Ally Donaldson. Don Caskie takes charge of the under-19s and is assisted by Calum Forrester.
