Aberdeen defender Mark Reynolds believes no team in Scotland can live with them when they are on top form.
The Dons swept aside Hamilton on Sunday in a 3-0 win at Pittodrie and Reynolds was able to stand back and admire his attacking team-mates.
Goals from Simon Church, Niall McGinn and Kenny McLean had them three ahead inside 33 minutes and Jonny Hayes displayed the confidence he gained from making his Republic of Ireland debut last month.
Aberdeen have a tougher task on Friday night when they travel to play Hearts at Tynecastle but Reynolds feels Hayes and his colleagues can cause more problems.
"That was us at our best," the centre-back said. "When we get the ball down and go at teams and are attacking and expansive, I think the key thing is the pace we go at.
"When we have boys on form and boys running at that pace then I don't think there is any team in the country that can live with us. I think that is probably our biggest asset.
"We were very free-flowing and it was a joy to watch, and I had very little to do. I was lucky to be able to stand back and watch the boys run riot. It was great.
"There have been games where we have rued missed chances and there we were clinical.
"We want more of the same and just keep that going. Jonny Hayes has been unbelievable the last few weeks for us. He has had his call-up to the national team and he has been a joke in training again this week.
"If we can keep him playing the way he is, I don't think there is any player in Scotland that can live with him."
The Dons will need to be at the peak of their powers in the coming weeks to have any chance of winning the Ladbrokes Premiership.
But they were given some encouragement on Tuesday when Celtic were held by Dundee and they can close the gap to two points at Tynecastle, ahead of Celtic's trip to Motherwell.
When asked about their title chances, Reynolds said: "I'm not here to make guesses, all I can say is that we will go out and try and win every game and make it as hard as possible. If we do that then we will see where it takes us.
"All season, all we have looked at is winning the game that has been put in front of us and getting the three points.
"The way we have played this season, we have been up near the top of the league pretty much the whole season and it's just about getting three points.
"People say this game or that game is bigger but for us every three points has been huge. Come Friday it's Hearts and again it's a massive three points.
"Hearts are having a great season themselves and they are sitting third and will be looking to close the gap. Both of us will be looking for three points and I'm sure it will be a great game."
