Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed through social media that he will be a Manchester United player next season.

The 34-year-old announced his arrival at Old Trafford on Instagram alongside a picture of the United crest: “Time to let the world know. My next destination is @manchesterunited #iamcoming.”

The legendary Swedish striker - a free agent following his release from Paris Saint Germain - is expected to fly to the UK on Friday to sign a one-year contract.

Ibrahimovic will become José Mourinho’s second signing for United, following the capture of Villarreal’s Ivory Coast defender Eric Bailly.
