DUNDEE UNITED goalkeeper Cammy Bell said he 'can't stop smiling' after saving three first-half penalties against Dunfermline on Saturday.

The former Rangers keeper kept out efforts from Gavin Reilly, Nicky Clark and Paul McMullan as his side ran out 3-1 winners at East End Park.

United defender Frank van der Struijk was culpable for giving away two of the spot kicks, while Paul Dixon was sent off for the away side with half an hour remaining of an eventful match.

Michael Paton managed to beat Bell in the second half after Simon Murray had put Ray McKinnon's side in front, but a double from new signing Tony Andreu ensured United took the three points.

"For me it'll probably never happen again, I'm absolutely delighted with it, I can't stop smiling," Bell told Arab Zone.

"It's something I'll remember for the rest of my career and it's up there with one of the best days of my career to be honest.

"I got made to get given (the matchball) so I got the boys to sign it. I'm delighted with the three points."
