James Forrest claimed victory over Hamilton on Wednesday night made Celtic "feel good" about themselves following the stalemate at Hibernian last weekend.
The Hoops were involved in a fraught and frantic 2-2 draw at Easter Road which took their unbeaten domestic run to 68 games, a record which was extended further but with less worry against Accies at Parkhead.
After Hamilton midfielder Danny Redmond cancelled out Olivier Ntcham's stunning 12th minute volley with a fine strike of his own, Forrest confidently grabbed his 11th goal of the season when he took a Stuart Armstrong pass and rounded Hamilton goalkeeper Gary Woods before sliding the ball into the net.

Fellow winger Scott Sinclair added a third a minute later to give the home side a comfortable interval lead and ultimately keep the champions five points clear at the top of the Ladbrokes Premiership with a game in hand over nearest challengers Rangers and Aberdeen.
"It was really important after Sunday that we got the three points and scored a few goals and to feel good about ourselves again," said Forrest.
"They came out and made it hard for us and once they scored, it was important we got back ahead again pretty quickly and we managed to do it, which was good."
Brendan Rodgers' side have five games remaining before the end of December which precedes the winter break but Forrest has no concerns with fatigue.
The 26-year-old Scotland winger said: "We have a strong squad and in every position and the manager knows he can rotate it.

"We have five games to go in December and we are just looking at the next game and feeling confident for that."
Forrest was not in the least surprised to see France Under-21 midfielder Ntcham collect the man-of-the-match award against Accies.
He said: "He has come in the last few games and looked really good.
"He's a really good player and he has scored a couple of goals as well and that's good for everyone and himself.
"We have a lot of competition for places in the middle of the park and in the last couple of games he has done really well."
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
