Celtic chief executive Peter Lawell has received nearly £1m in annual salary, according to new financial details.

The executive's pay is made up of a £400,000 bonus on top of his £525,000 for last year.

The figure were revealed in the club's annual report released yesterday.

On top of his salary and bonus, he received "benefits in kind" of £17,312 and pension contributions of £57,108.

The report states that Lawwell is "entitled to a maximum payment" under the company's "bonus scheme of 60%".
