SPANISH club SD Eibar have revealed they will host Celtic this summer as part of their 75th anniversary celebrations.

On their website, they say a friendly match has been arranged at their Basque home on Saturday, July 18.

Eibar made history a year ago by becoming one of the smallest clubs to ever win promotion to the La Liga, although they were subsequently relegated.

The club say they want to make the Saturday "a day of celebration" for the whole town and that Celtic supporters will be made welcome.

Ronny Deila has insisted his team would not embark on any world tours in a bid to have his players as fresh as possible for the Champions League qualifiers.

"The game against Celtic becomes a gift to its fans and citizens of Eibar, as a way to thank them for their unconditional support to the Club for the past 75 years," said the Spanish outfit in a statement.
