DESPITE missing captain Kim Little and three other experienced players, Scotland contained Women's World Cup hopefuls France to just a single goal when the teams met in Nancy last night.

Paris Saint-Germain striker Marie-Laure Delie got the 21st minute header which separated the sides and sent the 13,395 crowd home happy. France, who are third in the Fifa rankings, now head for Canada and will play England in their opening World Cup group game on June 9.
