Friends reunited at Ayrshire club

Jamie Hamill is delighted to have been reunited with former Hearts manager Gary Locke at Kilmarnock.

The two men were both moved on from Tynecastle early last month as Ann Budge took office at the Edinburgh club.

Hamill duly re-signed with former side Kilmarnock and Locke followed suit yesterday, being confirmed as the club's new assistant manager.

"Myself and the gaffer [Locke] go back a long way, we went through tough times at Hearts and I played with him at Kilmarnock so it's good to be reunited with him," added Hamill, whose one-time Hearts team-mate Danny Grainer yesterday signed for Carlisle United.
