Holt warns top-flight clubs Taylor will not come cheap

Gary Holt has lauded the continued rise of Lyle Taylor but the Falkirk manager insists the striker will not be allowed to leave on the cheap.

Hibernian are thought to be admirers of the 23-year-old, whose 28 goals have also caught the eye of Aberdeen. However, with a year left on his contact, the first division club are in a strong position.

"He knows where the goal is so it is only right people are having a wee look," Holt said. "I have said to the players that, if someone comes in and it is the right deal for the club, they are free to go

"Lyle knows where I am coming from and is aware I want him to lead a promotion push next year but money talks, as we all know."
