The Falkirk manager, Peter Houston, has told his players to push Queen of the South all the way for the final play-off spot.

The Scottish Cup finalists, who face Rangers at Ibrox today, are five points behind fourth-placed Queens with two games to play and require an unlikely series of results to make overhaul the Dumfries outfit.

Houston said: "Realistically, Queens are in the driving seat, but nothing in football is ever certain until the points are tied up in a game.

"They still have a wee bit of work to do, so we must ensure that if something does go wrong, we are in a position to capitalise.

"It will be tough at Ibrox, it always is, but you won't get a better boost ahead of a game than our Hampden experience. The boys will be keen to keep things on a high."
