Kris Boyd is ready to renew his relationship with Kilmarnock after reportedly agreeing a two-year deal with the Rugby Park club.

The former Rangers striker would become Gary Locke's fourth summer signing following the arrivals of Scott Robinson, Jamie MacDonald and Kallum Higginbotham.

It would be the third time Boyd has been on Kilmarnock's books.

Boyd was one of 11 players surplus to requirements at Ibrox as Mark Warburton began his rebuilding work as Rangers manager.

The player started his career with Kilmarnock but joined Rangers in 2006 and went on to score 126 goals for the Ibrox side.
