McLeish back in the game as Nottingham Forest appoint Scot as manager

Alex McLeish last night welcomed the "wonderful opportunity" to return to football as he was confirmed as Nottingham Forest manager just a day after the English club parted company with Sean O'Driscoll.

The 53-year-old Scot had been out of work since being dismissed by Aston Villa in May, after finishing just two points above the relegation zone in the Barclays Premier League, but insists he is raring to go at the City Ground.
