Paterson signs short-term contract at Station Park

Forfar Athletic have completed the signing of Jim Paterson on a deal until January.

The 34-year-old had been linked with a move to Station Park for much of the summer, following his released by English Conference club Bristol Rovers.

Paterson has also spent time playing for Plymouth Argyle in England and Shamrock Rovers in Irish football, as well as Motherwell and Aberdeen in his homeland. Dick Campbell, the Forfar manager, intends to give Paterson his debut against Peterhead on September 13.
