RELEASED Rangers flop Arnold Peralta looks set to rejoin his former club Deportivo Vida in his homeland this week.

The Honduran international was freed from the crisis-torn Ibrox club after not featuring for months under Ally McCoist or Kenny McDowall.

But the 25-year-old is expected to fly to Central America at the weekend and rejoin Vida - the club that Rangers snapped him up from.

He signed a four-year-deal with Rangers in June 2013, but failed to hold down a regular spot.

And he was ditched completely from the squad after being hauled off at half time in a 3-1 home defeat to Hibs in September.

Peralta is tipped to rejoin the La Ceiba outfit and could even feature in their next game against Olimpia in the Honduran League.
