Rangers have released striker Kevin Kyle by mutual consent after a series of injury setbacks.
The former Scotland striker was a surprise signing by Ally McCoist in the summer, who has now decided to let him leave Ibrox.
McCoist explained: "Kevin got an injury up at Montrose and that was unfortunate for him as he had been playing and scoring a couple of goals. He will certainly be fit for the start of the season and he will do a job for a new club."
