THE Rosenborg manager Kare Ingebrigtsen admits he would love to extend Liam Henderson's loan spell.

The 19-year-old Celtic midfielder took his tally to three goals in three games after coming off the bench to score a brace in Saturday's 4-1 win over Viking.

The Scotland Under-19 cap had only made substitute outings for the early Norwegian top-flight leaders but marked his full debut with a strike in last Wednesday's 3-0 cup victory over Vuku.

Henderson signed a temporary deal until the end of the domestic campaign in Scotland but Ingebrigtsen is planning talks with the Celtic head coach and fellow Norwegian Ronny Deila with a view to prolonging the teenager's stay.

Ingebrigtsen said: "Celtic have control over what happens, it's not so much what what we and Liam says. It depends on what Ronny Deila wants.

"One should never say that something is out of the question. It's early yet, but the start has been very good."
