ROSS County yesterday signed three of their young players as they looked forward to their first season in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.
Alex Cooper, Archie MacPhee and Steven Ross committed their futures to the first division champions by signing one-year extensions.
Cooper, who had a spell at Liverpool after emerging through County's youth ranks, is the son of the former Aberdeen, Rangers and Aston Villa midfielder Neale.
Like midfielder Cooper, right- back MacPhee spent a chunk of this season on-loan at Elgin City.
Steven Ross gained first-team experience in the Highland League with Forres Mechanics and Brora Rangers.
Derek Adams, newly-named as PFA Scotland's manager of the year, said: "Archie, Stevie and Alex have all worked really hard this year here at Ross County and on loan. They have all picked up valuable experience. There's no substitute for playing in tough competitive leagues and all three have shown a real desire and willingness to improve as players."
