Frank McKeown was the centre of attention before this game, a film unit from Al Jazeera having turned up at Stair Park to discuss the firefighter's heroics at the Clutha Vaults before the initial tie, and the Stranraer captain continued to hog the limelight with a goal as Stranraer came from behind to book a home tie against Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

A shock had looked on the cards when Kevin Watt put SPFL League 2 Clyde ahead early in the second half but justice was done after a match dominated by the hosts. Within seven minutes, Stranraer led; Mark Docherty burst forward and beat Nikola Rajovic, then McKeown meeting Chris Aitken's cross with a shot.

From then on, Stranraer peppered the Clyde goal with shots but it took until the 88th minute for the clincher to come, Jamie Longworth converting Docherty's pass. Martin Grehan then added a fourth in stoppage time.
