Jamie Longworth scored twice as new league leaders Queen's Park enjoyed a stunning 4-0 win against Elgin City at Borough Briggs.

Anthony Quinn's pass set up Lawrence Shankland for the visitors' opener in the 29th minute. Three minutes later Quinn added a second.

After the interval, Longworth netted from a Shankland cross in the 73rd minute before doubling his tally a minute before time.

Peterhead slipped to third place with a 2-1 defeat to Annan Athletic at Galabank. The hosts broke the deadlock after two minutes through Graeme Ramage, who set up Michael Daly in the 56th minute for a decisive second goal. Martin Bavidge pulled one back for Peterhead.

East Stirling's second successive win saw them beat Clyde 3-0 at Ochilview. The home side took the lead in the 25th minute through Kevin Turner and Paul Quinn doubled East Stirling's lead six minutes before the interval. Joseph Savage netted a deserved third at the death.

Berwick Rangers earned an excellent 4-1 win over struggling Stirling Albion at Shielfield, with John Ferguson netting two.
