IAN BARACLOUGH, the new Motherwell manager, is set to target a January swoop for the
Dundalk midfielder Richie Towell.
Baraclough knows all about Towell having come up against the former Celtic and
Hibernian midfielder when he was in charge of Sligo Rovers.
Former Republic of Ireland under-21 international Towell was recently on trial at
Cardiff City but they did not follow through with their initial interest.
Blackpool are also keen on the 23-year-old who was the PFAI Young Player Of The Year in
2013.
