United accept Hull bid for Robertson

HULL CITY have had a bid accepted for Andy Robertson, the Scotland and Dundee United left-back, according to reports last night.

Steve Bruce, the manager at the KC Stadium, has made a number of offers for the youngster this summer, all of which have been rejected, but the latest appears to have met United's valuation.

The exact figure is yet to be disclosed, but is believed to be somewhere in the region of £3m, with Queen's Park also in line to receive a percentage of the sum, since the defender was only bought by United in the summer of 2013.

Despite assertions after the William Hill Scottish Cup final that United would not sell their best players, Robertson would become the second high-profile transfer out of Tannadice this summer, following the sale of Ryan Gauld to Sporting Lisbon, for a sum also believed to be around £3m.
