Andy Wedemire insists that he's happy with his reduced role in the Glasgow Rocks side for tonight's BBL away match against Manchester Giants.

The Canadian has dropped down the pecking order with newcomer Mike Ringgold set to take a place in the starting line-up.

"We've a stronger squad this year all-round because we can go four deep off the bench," he said. "That can make it harder at times but when you're going for the win, if someone's playing well, you have to go with them. If it cuts down your minutes, you have to deal with it."

Cheshire's future in the BBL has been secured after the franchise was bought by a supporter-led group. The team will be renamed the Phoenix after ousted owner Hadyn Cook, who was stripped of his franchise due to financial difficulties, sold the name of the former Jets to a third party.
