The 19-year-old is certainly in good shape. She clocked a personal best of four minutes 12.39 seconds to win the 1500m at the Vienna Indoor Classic last week; some 12 seconds faster than she posted over the same distance at the International Match in Glasgow three days earlier. The trials will decide who makes the British squad for the European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg in March.
