Rousayan has won two from three over course and distance, his only two career victories, and drops down in class for today's race following two respectable runs in higher grades in recent weeks. He is partnered with Danny Tudhope who was also on board for both victories and has a 24% winning strike rate at the course over the last three years so a bold bid looks assured.
Mark Johnston has a decent record at Beverley and runs Yorkee Mo Sabee who has won over this trip although would probably prefer slightly softer ground conditions, while Jacbequick and Gerry The Glover both have winning course form and look the most likely to trouble the selection.
