BT Premier Divisions Two and Three

East Kilbride make their longest trip, to face Aberdeen GS FP, having completed their full hand of possible outcomes to matches when they drew last week at home to Stirling County.

EK coach Stevie Blair is able to name almost the same side, which means that scrum half Stuart Bart-wicki has recovered from the knock that forced him from the field midway through last week's game. Former Scotland sevens member Graham Agnew will be on from the start.

Grammar FPs are bottom of the table and still looking for the season's first win. Today they bring in a Dumfries-born Australian, flanker Matt Taylor, who played for the Australian Barbarians four seasons ago.

Boroughmuir have the maximum points from their three games, with 24 tries scored. Today they visit Musselburgh and coach Iain Paxton is anticipating another tough match.

''Last week, Biggar proved really hard up front. We tried to do too much early on, before we had sufficient quality possession. It's important we are correct mentally, because there is no doubt we have the talent.''

Burgh are back home after two weeks on the road, which brought a draw and a single-point defeat at Selkirk, who picked up their second victory when they slipped past Musselburgh.

Still to win away, today they visit Stirling County. Home coach Eddie Pollock is more bullish after last week's draw at East Kilbride, while Dennis Henderson, the Selkirk manager, expects his side to try to move the ball and is pleased to have top backs Alistair Dickson and David Hunter, who had a spell with County, back from injury. County restore Kiwi flanker Scott Couch.

Second-placed Kirkcaldy face a stiff test when they visit Biggar, who rarely lose at home but have done so in the last two seasons to the Fifers, albeit by narrow margins.

Kirkcaldy are forced to make two changes in the backs. Centre Craig Trewartha is out, meaning a debut for young Colin Harvey, whose father Bill was a long serving prop. Winger Mike Parsons is getting married, so experienced David Reddick steps in.

Dundee HS FP, anxious for a first win after a poor start that includes last week's 45-6 defeat to rivals Kirkcaldy, welcome Peebles, who in a dream start to their return to division two, find themselves still unbeaten. Kiwi stand-off Cam Twigley, whose grandfather hails from Uddingston, debuts. Dundee lose under-21 squad flanker Alan Brown to the Caley Reds.

In division three, there is no doubt, in the opinion of Edinburgh Accies coach Colin McKay, that the clash with Ayr at Reaburn Place is a six-pointer. ''Due to a combination of work commitments and injury, we had nine players out against Grangemouth last week. But with the exception of No.8 Craig Harrison, we are back to full strength,'' he said, ''and with Simon Burns, Richard Porter, and Luche Colceriu in the backs, we will be looking to get among the points.''

Second-placed Ayr will have Michael Goldie at scrum half in place of the influential Darren Holt, who is unavailable, and will be looking to improve the finishing that let them down by not doubling their try count of four against Hutchesons/ Aloysians.

The return of Kiwi No.8 Mike Gibbs for his first match of the season sees Richard Maxton go back to lock for Stewart's-Melville and they will be hoping a beefed-up pack can help them break their duck when Preston Lodge are the visitors. However, with that big win over Kilmarnock to boost them, the third-placed Pennypit men will be certain to take advantage of any slip-up by the leading pair.

Mark Lee has been released by the Edinburgh Reivers to play for Berwick against Hillhead/Jordanhill, who bring Tim Brummitt in at centre.

League leaders Gordonians have Peter Leslie in for injured wing Ally Crozier and hooker Craig Bartlett will start, with South African Andre van Neikerk likely to come off the bench at some stage. However, the Countesswells side will be looking to his countryman Dirk Muller to reproduce the sort of form he showed against Berwick when they travel to meet Hutchesons/Aloysians.

The Grangemouth pack that dominated Edinburgh Accies will be unchanged for the visit to Bellsland but the loss of stand-off and kicker Kenny Halliday could be crucial, while Kilmarnock Falcons are encouraged by the returns of Stewart Jenkins at No.10, allowing Jason Sharp to move back to scrum half, and Robbie Stewart at full back.
