RICHARD Corsie, looking for a first title in the LCL Pils national singles championship staged a remarkable fightback in his opening match at Ayr Northfield yesterday.
Corsie recovered from 18-6 down to edge out Port Glasgow's Freddy Kimmins 21-19.
Former champion John Aitken from Kirkliston is also through after a 21-10 victory over Stuart Dalrymple from Airthrey Spa while internationals Colin Mitchell,
Carricknowe, and Willie
