Tom Hunter calls for referendum on independence

Scots tycoon Sir Tom Hunter has entered the debate into constitutional change by calling for a referendum on independence.

He told the Sunday Herald it should be a simple yes or no question to sort out Scotland's constitutional future.

He said: "I have never made my views on independence known and I genuinely have still to decide on the matter, but I certainly do not want independence to happen by default."
