Those ads you do see are predominantly from local businesses promoting local services.
These adverts enable local businesses to get in front of their target audience – the local community.
It is important that we continue to promote these adverts as our local businesses need as much support as possible during these challenging times.
If money is tight, are you claiming all the support you are entitled to?
The enduring cost of living crisis and recent energy price rises means every pound matters. Most of us will have looked to try to reduce our costs and perhaps tried to increase our incomes. Understanding our entitlement to social security and making sure we are in receipt of everything we are entitled to is a key way to do this. Every day our CAB network sees people who aren’t getting what they are entitled to. I use the word ‘entitled’ very deliberately – the social security system is a safety net if you are on a low income or have specific needs that provides financial support when you need it the most. The right to social security is a human right.
