SHANKS JAMES. Peacefully at home, on Wednesday 13th March 2019, James Shanks, aged 85 years, (Honorary Past President of the Scottish Schools' Football Association) of 4 Burnside Terrace, Stranraer. Beloved husband of the late Irene, dearly loved dad of Mark, Lawri and the late Ian, father-in-law of Libby and Caron, devoted gramps of Lorn and Ailie and a dear brother of Jean. Funeral service, to which all friends are respectfully invited, at Trinity Church of Stranraer on Friday 22nd March 2019 at 11.30am, thereafter to Masonhill Crematorium, by Ayr for 2pm. Family flowers only please, donations if desired, to Alzheimer Scotland on retiral from services.
