MACKIE - James Suddenly but peacefully, at The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, on 8th December, 2019, Jim Mackie, in his 102nd year, formerly Principal Administrative Officer, Strathclyde Fire Service, beloved husband of the late Margaret Bain, father of Elizabeth, Graeme and Marjory, father-in-law of David, Sheila and Peter and proud grandpa and great-grandpa to 6 grandchildren and 8 great- grandchildren. Funeral service at Linn Crematorium, Lainshaw Drive on Wednesday, 18th December at 11am, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Macular Society.
