DINGWALL - Francis Thomas (Tommy) Former Lord Provost of the City of Glasgow After a long illness, on Monday, 30th December, 2019, at Mugdock House Care Home, Bearsden. Tommy, loving husband of Winifred, much loved father of Andrew and Alison, loving grandfather of Nicola, Christopher, Cara and Ailidh and father-in-law of the late Stuart. At his request, a private Service of Thanksgiving was held at Glasgow Crematorium on Saturday, 11th January, 2020. The family wish to thank all relatives and friends who have expressed sympathy for their sad loss and for the many messages of support received. Sincere thanks to the staff of Mugdock House Care Home: the family wish to acknowledge the loving care given to Tommy in his final years. Thank you also to the Co-operative Funeral Parlour, Bearsden.
