I have got this very sad news a couple of days ago. I just can’t tell how sad and sorry I am. I had been working with Paul in China for many years and he will not be forgotten by the many who admired and respected him. With my deepest sympathy.

I am so very sad to hear of the sudden passing of Paul. He was my good friend at Kilmalcolm Primary School and we enjoyed many years as friends partying in secondary school and beyond. We shared so many good times together in our larger group of friends as we were growing up. He loved his family so very much and had a great sense of fun. I have so many happy memories of laughter and just hanging out with Paul. I can’t imagine how you all must be feeling and I send you all my deepest and sincerest condolences. Brenda Bird (Quye)

My prayers and thoughts with all of you. I always remember Paul for the joy and fun he brought to every conversation/get together/meeting. I admired him for his boundless energy to live life to the full. My first encounter with him in Bangalore ended with him giving me a lift back to the hotel on his Bullet with no helmet and weaving through the city traffic. Better than any roller coaster ride!! Paul-praying you find peace and love wherever you are my friend. Nantha

I'm sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I had the great pleasure of meeting Paul during my regular trips to Hong Kong around 2003-2005, sharing many laughs along the way. Even when he moved and I relocated to the US, we would still share occasional emails. I know I won't be the only one with these sort of experiences and it is a testament to Paul of how many friends he made and that even though we're all scattered across the globe, he kept in touch. My thoughts are with you all, Lee Kenny

I can't possibly describe how sad I find it that Paul is no longer with us. I am therefore doing everything I can to focus on all my priceless memories with him instead. Most of them from the time I got to share with him in Stockholm. I will miss you, Paul. Your friend and colleague Tomas Fehrling
