TURPIE - Alexander (Sandy) Passed peacefully on Thursday 7th January 2021, aged 90. Much loved husband of 65 years to Rosemary, father of Geraldine and Derek and grand-father of Jessica, Charlotte, Ella and Lydia. Private funeral. A celebration of his life will be arranged at a later date. No flowers please. Donations to Murrayfield Injured Players Foundation (SC005015).

I met Alexander several times when he was working for Grundy's in Teddington in the early 1980s.
I shared a flat in nearby Strawberry Hill, Twickenham with his daughter, Geraldine.
Condolences to all the family. I have many happy memories of this period and very sad to have lost contact after I moved out of London in 1990
